Hey all, looking to get a leak down tester. The options for new testers are limited and expensive. The home made tester that has gotten a lot of praise on TT did not work for me, and believe me, I tried very hard. Does anyone have a used tester or an extra one laying around they'd be willing to part with for a fair price? Or does anyone know where I could find one at a fair price. I'm very serious about keeping my CR running strong and this is essential to have. Thanks! My bike is a 2004 CR250 for anything model specific.

A leak down tester would only be beneficial if you had a four stroke. All you really need is a compression guage.

This is to pressurize the crank case and check for leaks there.

The motion pro can be had on amazon for not that expensive...
