Steel-it painted frame?

In off-road truck racing everyone is using a new product “steel-it” on frames or suspension parts instead of powder coat. We ran it on our truck with good results, even on trailing arms that get rock blasted for miles and miles. https://www.steel-it.com/automotive-applications-of-steel-it-5

So my question is, has any one tried this on a dirt bike frame instead of going the powder coat route? I know it won’t be as good, but maybe a cheaper quicker alternative?

I was going to do it on my KX500 but ended up selling it. I’m a big fan of Steel It.

Steel It isn't that new we have been using it for 20 years, it's pretty pricey for both the primer and paint.
