Upon entering and exiting the turn, it cuts out a bit, but pulls well up the hill?

Plugcap is 5k Ohm, going to get one with no resistance as a start.

Sounds like a broken, or nearly broken ground wire that is bouncing a bit. locating it may be the hard part.

disconnect the kill button completely first.
check around the coil and its ground and mounting bolts
I had a wire off one of the stator mounts broken one time that was bouncing
check in and around the flywheel just in case too.

Bad headgasket, engine was full of water.

Seems VERY thin this gasket!

I just rebuilt my 87 CR125. The gasket set had two different thicknesses of head gaskets, a thin one and one about twice as thick. I used the thick one because it matched what I took out. I don't know what was stock or why they had two different gaskets.

I ordered a set of eBay and it looks like I will get another thin one.

HOWEVER.

CMSNL has two part numbers, Honda superceedes to the thin one, but I will try and get the thicker one for sure.
