Hi all sorry if this is the wrong section in the forum I didn't see a 50 area. But I have a 2006 crf 50 that has been running pretty good up untill recently. It's fouling out plugs in a hour or two and the plug is black and almost sooty I swapped the clip from 3 where it was to 2 and still same thing it'll barely run now and getting worse could it be I need a new coil and plug wire or maybe a cdi box? I have gone threw 4 or so plugs messing with it over the last week or two

Things to check before just throwing money at it.
1. Do an OHMS test on the coil.
2. Check float height of the carb.
3. Be sure the float needle is sealing.
4. Is the plug wet?
5. Air cleaner cleaned and oiled properly?
6. What color is the spark? Blue, white, orange or yellow?
7. Is the exhaust plugged up?

Well I feel like a dip shit I went threw the carb 2 or 3 times making sure it was good and I didn't ever look where the floats needle sits it had a tiny little something in there. It now runs perfect again
