Hello,

I have what I think is a 1975 RM125M. Frame is stamped RM125-19515, left crankcase (gear shift lever side) is stamped RM125-19682.

Does anyone know whether crankshaft PN 12200-41001 listed by CMSNL fits this engine and whether 12200-41301 from 76-78 is interchangeable?

Thank you for any help,
Ben

I wrote to vintage Suzuki and received the following reply (thank you, Tony):

Part # = 12200-41001
Part Description = CRANKSHAFT ASSEMBLY
Model Count = 2
RM100A 1976 98 RM100 OFF ROAD
RM125-M 1975 123 RM125 OFF ROAD

Part # = 12200-41301
Part Description = CRANKSHAFT ASSEMBLY
Model Count = 3
RM100B 1977 98 RM100 OFF ROAD
RM100C 1978 98 RM100 OFF ROAD
RM125A 1976 123 RM125 OFF ROAD

hope this helps, the second number is not the correct crank.

77-78 RM125 had a longer stroke crank shaft than the M and A models. The M used a TM style engine.
