Has anyone had any experience with these? I ran Pro tapers for 4 years and only bent 1 pair. I have stock renthals on my bike right now but i just went and bought some cr high fatbars but i didnt think about having to buy an oversize clamp/adapter. So now im thinking about returning them for some twin walls or something.
Are the fatbars worth paying an extra 40 bucks for? I'm already in $120.00?

The CR High bend is 30 year old bend with a LOT of sweep. I would take them back and run the stock Renthals until you bend them.

No problem, with all the bar bends available, it can get confusing.

If you are riding a CRF, the stock bend is the Renthal 971, which is identical to the RC, with 99mm high and 54mm of sweep. The RC High is 119mm high with the same 54mm sweep. If you are over 6'-2", the RC High works well. Personally, I like the 7/8" Renthals because they transmit less vibration, but if you have a tendency to crash a lot, the fatbars and twinwalls will take a bigger hit before bending.

Ya im 6'4'+ so im looking for something that doesnt jam my knees in the corners. Interesting ive heard the same thing about the fat bar vibration from other people. My old pro tapers didnt seem to have that problem though.

We've been using RC bend fatbars for years now and I've been happy overall, if and when it's time to buy more bars I think I may go back to just a 7/8 bars. We've only ever bent two sets of Fatbars over the years but I've bent a few bar mounts instead of the bars and it's easier to find/replace a set of bars at the track than mounts.

At 6'-4" the RC Highs will be perfect for you.
