RM Plastic Colors

I'm about to become an owner of a 2004 RM250. It's got all I need for riding/racing in the woods. Mechanically and add-ons wise, it's what I'm looking for a good price.

But the oversized tank is a much darker shade of yellow than the neon yellow the other plastics (fenders, shrouds) are. Does anyone know what year the RM changed colors and what year I would be looking for to match the tank?

I think he might be using a pre 02 tank but don't know if that's possible with any frame changes? All help is appreciated.

As far as I know '01-present were all the same color....you may have better luck finding a stock tank than matching colors to an aftermarket tank.
That is unless you need the oversize.

I think the only way I can do this thread justice is get pictures up when I roll it into my garage.

Cataonic- I would like to have one on the bike just for being able to do the distance on a long trail ride/race. I might sell off the one on the bike and get another.

If anyone knows where I can find a stock tank, let me know.
