2012 crf 250 chassis issues

Anybody heard of or experienced front tire hitting the downtube? My son's crf has what looks like tire burns on his downtube and we're going to check new crf's tomorrow to see if they have a slight kink in the downtube. Weird. Bent forks maybe? Thanks!

Yes, noticed the same thing on ours last week. I have no explanation, I have not checked it out yet.
