'07 rm125 cylinder compatibility

Hey guys, i bought a basket case rm 125 (144) 07. Im looking on ebay for a new cylinder, as this one has a pretty good chunk missing from the stuck piston.
Anybody know if the older ones will work?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that the basic design has been the same since 04.

Find a Suzuki microfiche online and see if the powervalve components are the same part number, if not the cylinder itself.
