Has anyone used the modern version, I think its sold as Safari Facegaurd? I'm curious what goggles it may be compatible with? It is sold with 83x but I was going to buy it separate and retrofit to maybe some 87 frames. Does anyone know if the 83s and 87s have the same shape? They look like it. Also, what's the chance of buying an original piece either Scott or other brand? Even one of the Full House type that buttons to the helmet? Even used it rough shape as it will be used?

If my memory serves me correct the masks should fit 83,87 and 89. The 83 and 89 I am sure were the same frame, but the 89 had better foam and gel on the inside of the strap and the 87 was deeper so you could wear them over glasses.
