Love the 79 cr 125 I think their just unique with that 23 inch front wheel. I started looking for one to restore and went to the local Honda shop one day and low and behold there’s a 79 cr there on consignment like brand new still has the original tires needs new fenders but not much more it looks nice in my garage.

They looked really nice, but were so slow that the bugs hit you in the back and you would wear out a pair of boots before you wore out the rear tire!!!

Yup, nice to look at but I raced one once when my YZ was broke. did not like it. In 1980 they got it right

I didnt take any before photos,but i can tell you that the bike was pretty hammered. took it down to the frame. i painted it with ppg's dcc concept single stage. that dcc is the bomb when it comes to single stage. the frame,tank,triple clamps,motor,and swingarm were all painted. it was a fun resto. wish i had some before and after photos...
