Hi, I'm putting a stock 99 CR250 Air Stryker (long body, no TPS) on an 82 RM 250. The RM has VForce reeds and DG pipe. I see CamP, Barkhard 696, and Greg-15 have done similar PWK installs. Can you three (or other folks) tell me your specs for main, needle position and pilot? And were you able to use stock RM throttle cable? Thanks!

Hi folks, I know quite a few people have swapped a Keihin PWK Air Stryker carb onto their 82-83 RM250's...I'd be really grateful for jetting specs from one of you! Thanks

I run a stock 2000 cr250 pwk, motion pro cable(?# ) and vortex quick pull throttle. Mine is 83 with 82 head, dg pipe, silencer, vforce from 87 or 88 quad racer. Fast and pulls real hard in midrange on up. The carb made nice improvement in smoothness but I really wanted it cause of idle screw. Lost a race cause I stalled in hairpin. Stock guilitine carb had no idle screw. The pwk solved the stalling in hairpin turns. I just installed it stock and run 32-1 race gas no changes. V force made it smoother As well.

Great info, thanks very much riv187! Did you buy your PWK used, or new from an oem seller?

Anybody else who has experiences with a pwk on 82-83 RM250, I'd love to hear about it. More info the better!

Flea bay. it was a clean complete one off the 2000 cr250. Around $100 as I remember.
