98 yamaha RT 100?

Im doing a top end on a friends RT and have a 1mm over stock ART piston and RM tells me the rings are not aval. Anyone know a good place to get a set, not sure if the DT 100 rings are the same but the motor looks a lot like my 77 dt 100 engine.Thanks for any help!

More than likely , the 76 to 83 DT / MX100 ring set will work, even though the part number prefix is different.

Scour ebay. You might come up with a set there. I am usually at my local dealer 3-4 times a week. They have a bunch of old inventory.

I can take a peek , if you do not come up with anything. 3A3 is the prefix for that ring set. A 558 set would also work, almost certainly.

I'll take a look at my dealers stuff. I used to buy tons of obsolete parts from him.

Markit, dealer had one set, # 3A3-11610-40. These the number you need ? They are 4th over RT100.

Let me know. I grabbed them, so they are here.
