92 vs 93 kx125 frame question

I just recently purchased a 93 kx125 that has turned out to be a total basket case. Long story short it looks like it is going to be cheaper for me find a new frame than straighten the one I have. My question is are the 92 and 93 kx125 frames the same or are there differences that would prevent me from transferring the parts from my 93 frame over to a 92. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

Nah, the plastics are the same.

I believe the '92 swingarm has an extra lateral brace towards the front. I'm pretty sure everything swaps just fine though as stated above.

Probably beefier frame rails and different engine mounts and pipe mounts, etc. I wouldn''t risk a swap unless you got the frame for dirt cheap and don't mind the effort.
