Can you use one on yourself? Now that would be cool.

The fun part is when you get to beat on their chest and say shit like, "Stay with me" , "Fight Damnit", "Why all the Good One's"..... . The worst part is when they die.

In all seriousness....pretty cool they have AED's everywhere now.

My dad actually had one installed in his body. On an x-ray it looked like two fly swatters wrapped around his heart and a small sensor the size of a lady finger fire cracker in there also. The control and battery unit was the size of a small, thin whiskey flask that was installed in his belly. One day he got out of bed and !!BAM!! she fired on his ass. Heart disease eventually got him though...damn do I miss that old man...

x2 on the heart disease. My Dad was diabetic and didn't take care of himself too well until he almost saw the light. Doc gave him 3-6 months to live. He turned it around for a few years...diet (mostly vegan) and very modest exercise. Lost a lot of weight. Travelled the country and the world during those last few years.

But, it caught up with him. Although we didn't always get along, I definitely miss him sometimes.

Everyone should be trained in CPR. I do have to say it is not fun to do on someone.
