I was having a discussion with someone the other day and it got me wondering about eBay.

What types of products (both moto and non-moto) have you purchased from eBay recently?

Were you happy with it?

I've literally built my entire aluminum framed CR500 piece by piece from Ebay. I can't count the amount of amplifiers and other sound related items I've bought as well. It works for me.

Interesting that you guys are saying you bought it FROM eBay. The only thing eBay is selling is online classified ads and an escrow service. You bought something you FOUND on eBay. You bought it from an individual or shop that was advertising there.

Don't get me wrong, I understand it's not "from eBay" I actually make my living in relation to eBay, I just felt it was the best way to word the question, thanks for proving once again that it's damn near impossible to have any discussion on this board without getting nit picked...

You may understand it, but I bet if you asked a bunch of people they actually think eBay is selling the items. All you'd have had to say differently to not give that idea is say "purchased on eBay" and it doesn't give that idea.

Of course then you have amazon.com which actually does both...sell and serve as an advertising/purchase site for other companies.

But to your original question, the only things I've ever bought from an ad on eBay I didn't buy in the auction. I just went to the seller's website and purchased it.

I buy lots of stuff on ebay, moto and non-moto.

Bought loads of Maico stuff, bought an RT-180 Yamaha for my wife, etc

Also, out of print vinyl, hard to find cd's, books, blank lightscribe DVD's and CD's just yesterday.

I've never bought or sold anything via ebay. Smile I don't even have an account. I do a lot of purchasing from (and via) Amazon and recently sold and bought my first items through Craigslist ads (sold a Ninja 250 and bought a ZX6R).

Most stuff I have bought off ebay lately has been race car related. Tires, Motor parts, etc.
