87 million views of six year old information. The guy is a bad dude for sure.

There are Al Queda and related organizations active all through the horn of Africa.

We have lot's of problems here at home. How long are we going to play the world policeman?
We need to clean up our own house before we act as if we are going to clean someone else's.

As far as 87 million views? Is that what drives our military policies today?

The Kony video is a huge cluster, but our guys were there well ahead of that that hitting the airwaves. I expect the primary attention is on Sudan/Somalia. The Kony deal is a bad one, but it really doesn't have much strategic concern for the US.

I agree we should be spending our money here at home, and to not playing policeman everywhere. But the numbers of people in these operations is pretty damn small relative to our involvement in too many other places.

You and I are in agreement on this, but putting our troops in a place like this, in small numbers is a bad deal.

We seem to have very short memories about what happen in Somalia.

"...what happen in Somalia"

That was the very first thing that came to mind when he told me.

I don't think America has ever gone to war, or occupied a country that still doesn't have some men in one shape or another.

I'm waiting for this country to invade this country..........!!!!!!!

Doesn't get any more corrupt than right here in the good ole USA. The difference here is the rebels wear suits and call themselves politicians, elected officials, executives and ceo's..... LMFAO.

The masters at playing the shell game.

I am so thankful that at the last min my bro decided to go reserve!

..and he ended up getting a good job here at the marine office, in another thread i told the story about him searching on his laptop while sitting at work for "silencers" and getting called in the Sarg's office and got his ass fully chewed out for it (he was logged into the Marine office WiFi, and i guess it caught his search results)

We have no combat troops there, only "advisers". Their mission is to train the local troops. LoL typical SOG mission.
