Palin was clearly in attack mode last night. Some say that makes her sound like a bitch, some say it makes her look strong willed. I guess it depends on your viewpoint, but regardless of how you thought she came across, consider this. She did her job. A job that McCain couldn't (and politically shouldn't) do. If McCain exposes Obama the way Palin did, he would come off as an angry, old WHITE MAN attacking a black man. If they let Palin expose him, they disarm their opponents.

You are absolutely right. However, I was disapointed that they didn't use more stage props. They could have used the same styrofoam pillars, and went with a Cleopatra theme for Palin.

Obama had already promised the Pillars could be used at a Block Party he had organized.
