Anyone watching this show on Animal Planet? I'm digging it so far.

You have to wonder how far they can push the Japs before they start shooting them with something more than water.

Those are ground whales and they appear to be at war.

Seriously,

What these people do is very noble but is waste of time. Enforced international law is the only thing that will slow down this process.

I agree. When I was in the navy, we used to deal with Greenpeace all the time.

But the show is good entertainment. I get a kick out of them throwing shit at the whalers.

It's like Deadliest Catch, but with hippies.

That main head honcho dude on the boat is kind of a jackass. The nutjobs that chase after the ships in the zodiac w/ stinkbombs and ropes are out of their minds.

Thats good entertainment.

If the idea of the show is to gain support for Greenpeace, I think it will fail. Reading about their stopping a whaling boat in the paper without the details of the dumb things they are doing is better PR. Seeing the idiotic stunts they pull and the bickering amongst them will only show them for the idiots they are.

They are not Greenpeace and Greenpeace won't have shit to do with them.
Greenpeace doesn't even like them or their tactics

I am all for stopping the slaughtering of the whales but this show is basically nothing more than “made for tv drama” and it’s really not going to further the cause at all.

How fucked up do you have to be to have Greenpeace pointing a finger and shaking their heads? The skipper seems a little Jim Jones creepy...
