Student Loans

First thing would have been to fill out the FAFSA ( I think that's what it is still called). It might be too late for this coming school year, but maybe not.

It depends on what you want the money for if your looking for it, to just cover tuition and books or addtional expenses such as housing and bills? You need to first figure out whether you need a federal or private student loan. Filling out the FAFSA form would be a real good start but don't bet everything on it, I didn't qualify for it so I had to get a student loan which worked out better. I needed extra money then just school cost to cover my bills when I couldn't work.

Loans through FAFSA took care of most of my expenses in college; I think for the things I needed private loans for, I used Sallie Mae. A loan from them paid for my study abroad trip sophomore year.
