Damn that's terrible. I owned one for many years and even though we had many many safe flights a couple of people were injured on it. All but one were there fault for not listening to instructions from me and my brother. Hope these girls pull through with no long term problems.

holy crap. We just got back from pcb Tuesday after a week there. I've been several times in my life and tried to talk my wife, who has never been, into letting me take my 9 yr old son on a ride. She said absolutely no way. wow, those poor young girls. I can't imagine what their friends and family are going through right now. At least they are alive.

NO I didn't, I almost puked watching one from a year or two ago when a lady slammed a big metal fence and ripped her leg off here around St. Pete.

Sad story. I worked at one for years as a teen. We used to double the line to 1200 feet and go up tandem and bungey out. We used a pull boat and a catamaran landing platform. After you bungey the pull boat slows like doing a foot dip and you release yourself into water and are picked up by the catamaran. The motor on the cat was centrally located so landing on cat platform with bungey hanging was no problem. The company I worked at had the line break years later resulting in death and they were the ones that did the reverse bungey and the guy drilled the bottom of the crane basket and the bungey breaking and guy breaks his arm which were played on tv bloopers all the time. Doh.
