If I'm not mistaken, the American financial system (read economy), is considered a key part of our infra-structure. Along with energy, transportation...etc. A deliberate attack, attempt to disrupt or damage any of these elements is considered a serious FEDERAL crime. Akin to treason or terrorism. We are talking death penalty serious.

If the financial institutions that were deemed "too big to fail" were KNOWINGLY and with MALICE of forethought creating financial instruments that they knew would fail, and then positioning themselves to profit from that failure...then I submit that justice demands that there should soon be some dastardly, treasonous, profiteering, theives, facing federal charges.

The grave damage inflicted on our nation by these INDIVIDUALS has not been halted, much less reversed. The people who caused or allowed this to happen are no less identifiable than the 9/11 terrorists. WE KNOW WHO DID THIS. Millions of Americans have been negatively impacted by the actions of these traitors. It's time the government protected us from our enemies...both foreign and DOMESTIC.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled program...

No arguments from me, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Hell, I would be happy if we could get our elected officials to see to it that it doesn't happen again. I am not holding my breath on that one either.

They are the government.
Pretty much right on that. They are the puppet masters.

I'll probably still be looking for a job in 2 years. Yeah I know I could go flip burgers but I mean a job that actually pays for more than gas money to get back and forth.

Sorry to hear that you're not employed.
I hope your luck changes soon.

Hey thanks man...I know it'll be ok in the end and if it's not ok...it's not the end. I've had lots of offers out of state...but nothing that would pay enough to support 2 households. I couldn't give my house away right now and besides I've got a mentally handicapped son that I've finally got into some employment that wouldn't be available elsewhere. I get aggrevated about it sometimes but once I vent...it's all ok. Might as well be...I can't do much about it.
