I know he was found innocent, but Charles Keating was slime. My father was asked in the 60's to work with their group and wouldn't because of him. The S&L scandals were hard on quite a few people. Neil Bush was involved with Silverado S&L. He was let off also.

And the common thread to all this is, it's the some of the same people. So why would we want to put them back in power? Look it up.

What I love about the K5 is that McCain received roughly $20k a year from them for 5 years and then stalled investigations into the dealings when things started to get bad. Also, Cindy had her $300K investment with Keating. They paid him, his wife invested, he took the money and fought for them. Over 20,000 people lost their savings in the deal.

Yeah, he is a reformer. Gonna change how Wall Street does business.

You know, I watched BO on Bill's show the last week and Bill kept bringing up that dude that did some bombing when BO was 8, Rev Wright and Renzko (sp?). Bill kept saying that it was so important that BO displays a pattern of poor judgment in the company he keeps (wtf bill o?). Anyway, when are they gonna start hitting McCain about his buddies?

Phil Gramm was invovled also. He is an Economic advisor for McCain, correct? What I don't get also is what you just said, Why is this not important? Neil Bush and his whole fiasco was never mentioned during any of the previous campaigns. I am not as informed as a number of you guys, but I try to put two and two together and on this one, I just don't get why it isn't important. All these guys are fucking corrupt in my eye's. They are only looking out for themselves.
