despite the refs doing their best......we were victorious today against a very good organization. without a doubt, we are playoff bound. its gonna be a long year for all the Raider haters.
McFadden is the best running back in the league. Without question. RunDMC is the best thing weve had since Bo Jackson.
I used to hate Jason Campbell. I was a Bruce Gradkowski fan all the way. He reminded me of Gannon. But then again, I hated Gannon in the beginning. JC is winning me over.
Denarius Moore.....just keep feeding that guy the ball. the definition of a "playmaker"
Namdi who?...I still wish we had offered him a deal...but it looks like Al Davis was once again one step ahead of everyone else.
Seymore......cant wait to see him pound brady into the ground next week.
BRING ON THE FUCKING PATRIOTS!!!
(....and brady still fumbled)

.....if that wasnt the most blatant form of the ref's controlling the spread, i dont know what is. the NFL should be investigated after that game. only ESPN is showing that highlight. its nowhere on the NFL networks highlight show. thats gotta say something.
when he's wrong, he's horribly wrong. when he's right, he looks like a genius.
if there are two things i know about Al Davis its this:
1) Id rather have him on my side than against me
2) I prefer the devil I know to the devil I dont. I will never forgive him for trading away Chucky. And his feud with Rich Gannon is downright criminal. But when he's gone, Im going to miss him. With Al, I know these things will always be true....
- our uniforms will never change
- he's a owner that lives and dies by his principles, his belief in going against the grain, and his disdain for authority, and he eats sleeps and breathes Raiders
the only owners I see fit to replace him are either Amy Trask or Mark Cuban. anyone else will change the philosophies, culture, and style of the Raiders. and then they wont be the Raiders anymore.
its kinda cool to see a franchise, where its fans, players, and organization are so similar in mindset. to be a Raider fan actually tells you something about a person. or at least Al Davis would like to preach it that way. kinda like a religion or political affiliation to some extent. for good or bad, not many sports teams have that.
there will be some good that comes when he dies. no doubt. but as a Raider fan, our biggest fear is that the organization will lose its identity.
the Lakers (whom i hate) wont be the Lakers when Jerry Buss is gone
the Cowboys wont be the Cowboys without Jerry Jones
and Steinbrenner was the Yankees
as for namdi......he has been getting lit up this year. ive watched every eagle game. he hasnt lived up to the paycheck yet.
The Shop
i dont think people are aware of just how complex D's have gotten over the last 15 years. and with free agency, there is more turnover on the D side than offense. new players + no time to learn = scoreboard lit up
also, with only one allowed padded practice a week, its really hard for defenses to get the necessary work in. players on that side of the ball arent exactly that bright. they need real practice and repetition for the coaching to work. the classroom stuff isnt as effective as it is with the offensive players.
combine that with the fact that QB's and WR's are over-protected, defenses are so handicapped. it really is making a lot of pedestrian qb's look way better than they are when compared to the greats. i know coaching has gotten better but not everyone is dan marino.
the eagles D is a mess period. they cant stop the run. and yesterday they let Eli (whom im a fan of) look like Peyton. namdi looked like the #2 or #3 CB on that team. not at all like a lock-down #1.
