Why would a former champion not realize that passing on the inside at the Monaco hair-pin is virtually impossible? Alonzo is taking full responsibility, but WTF???

Alonso was clearly faster than Nick, why not wait for a spot that might actually work?
You didn't see the car bounce from the dip in the road, causing him to start tankslapping coming out of the tunnel?
There is no way he purposely rearended Sutil as you are implying. He wasn't trying a pass when it happened. He was following out of the tunnel.

[i]You[/i} said Raikkonen did it. "Have you seen what Raikkonen did to Sutil yet." in a thread about what Alonzo did to Heidfeld (on purpose because he was trying an impossible pass, forcing the issue). To me this means you are implying the same degree of puposefulness, perhaps more, on Raikkonen's part in his crash with Sutil.
BMSOB views it the way I saw it. It wasn't Raikkonen's first problem under braking for the day.
"He mugged Sutil", again implies purposefully crashing Sutil out of the race. You conspiracy theorists can be spotted a mile away. Always blaming things on the big corporations.
KR apologizes? That's what I gotta see...
Verb
[mugging, mugged] to attack someone in order to rob them
I don't think Raikkonen mugged Sutil. Crashed into him, yes, and I agree that it unfortunately caused Air India to miss what could be its biggest finish ever.
But you wouldn't call it a mugging if Sutil had crashed under braking in front of Raikkonen and collected Raikkonen up in the crash as well. Sometimes there's a risk of cars crashing during a race. We are more used to seeing a backmarker screw things up than a world champion, but it still happens.
The definition of "mugging" includes the words, "in order to rob".
Therefore, yes, your post says that you are accusing Kimi of crashing Sutil out in order to rob him of a points paying finish. Meaning he crashed into him on purpose.
While unfortuneate, it just looked like one of those dang deals to me...
