Starts in March 2021.
https://www.extreme-e.com
Format:
Pretty cool concept.
Big Name Team Owners: Chip Ganassi Racing, Andretti Autosport, Nico Rosberg, and Lewis Hamilton.
9 Teams
2 moto girls will be part of the series.
Laia Sanz will be driving for the Acciona Sainz XE Team alongside Carlo Sainz, and Sara Price will drive for the Chip Ganassi Racing Team alongside Kyle Leduc.
The Car:
"The battery-electric, 400kw (550hp), 1650-kilogram, 2.3-metre wide E-SUV is bespoke from the ground up. Capable of firing from 0-62mph in 4.5 seconds, at gradients of up to 130 percent, it’s unlike anything else out there."
Schedule:
March 20-21: Sharaan, Al-'Ula, Saudi Arabia
May 29-30: Lac Rose, Dakar, Senegal
August 28-29: Kangerlussuaq, Greenland
October 23-24: Santarem, Para, Brazil
December 11-12: Tierra Del Fuego, Argentina
And this is pretty cool.
The Ship:
Extreme E’s global odyssey is made possible by its floating paddock and base, the RMS St. Helena.
She will be used to transport the championship’s freight and infrastructure, including vehicles, to the nearest port to each of its five race locations, minimising Extreme E’s emissions profile as well as facilitating scientific research through an on-board laboratory.

Love that they're taking it back to the Coca Cola Catapult jump contest from old school SX.
