Ever wonder what EID stood for? Sure, you thought Engine Ice Dave was just an innocuous name. But now in combination with a right-wing chain email and the Post Office, I've put it together. This US stamp says it all.

Yes, at 42 cents it is old. But I got the email today, and in combination with the Muslim acronym discussion elsewhere....

Having lived in a Muslim country for a few years, I can say from experience that if American fundamentalist Christians were half as dedicated to Jesus as Muslims are to Mohammed, they'd be much better people that they actually are. And the proportion of Muslims who believe the kind of radical fundamentalism that you find objectionable (and which you extrapolate to all Muslims) is much smaller than the proportion of Christians who hold ridiculous, offensive, heretical fundamentalist views. Christians who hate Muslims should look in the mirror. They'd find someone worthy of their own contempt.

Like Ghandi said, "I love your Christ, but I don't like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."
