Did you happen to see the Axl episode on That metal show? Wondering how that went, I saw the commercial with him saying he is the one alway getting sued and stuff.

If he gives up the band name, he'll go broke, no one will care about him and the next thing you know, he'll either be on Celebrity Rehab w/ Dr. Drew or playing some shitty dive in the midwest to about fifty people living in a minivan. Not that I'd care if all that happened to him...

Wasn't there, but rose was found guilty of starting a riot, I believe way back at a concert in the St. Louis area. I knew a guy, never liked him, he got hit in the face by a bottle. Not a pretty site, not that Rose did that though.

I went to see Guns in 91'. They came on stage 1.5 hours late. The crowd was pissed, some were rioting and some bottles were thrown up on stage when the band came out. One hit Axl and he threw a fit and cussed out the crowd and he led the band off stage and quit. Without doing one song. Night was over and it never even started. Classic.

Kinda like Bret Michaels? I saw him a few years ago in a dive bar in KC trying to scratch out a living. I guess he never thought about saving something for after his 15min of fame ended?

He still tours every year with Poison..I saw them a few years ago and the arena was sold out. Just because a musician plays at a "dive bar" doesn't mean they are "scratching out a living"..Most love to get back to the roots of how they started and play for a few people or small venues because they like to play, And are not in it just for fame and the money.i live near Rikki Rocket ( the drummer for poison ) and he regularly plays an acoustic set with his wife (who's a singer) at the local diner in town.
