Atlanta SX, MARTA

Going to Atlanta to see the SX. Be staying with in-laws in Canton,GA (Near Marietta) Do any of you GA guys have any recommendations as to where the closet MARTA station would be for us to catch the MARTA. I have been to Atlanta SX many times before and do not care for the traffic near the Dome, thinking about taking the MARTA this year. And is it safe as I have my family with me this year. Thanks

I live in Cartersville and it's best to drive down. You get off on Northside Drive and it takes you to the stadium. You can park in a lot on the right at the light before the stadium for about 20 bucks. Going home you will have traffic till you get to 75 but it's not that bad. Most are racing to 75 anyway. It will take me about 35 minutes to get home and I will win the race home.

Thanks, badbrad108 for the reply, we will be leaving Canton around noon so downtown parking hopefully will not be to bad. Thanks for the suggestion. Got 2 cars so we gotta stay together as a group. Taking family members to their 1st SX, gonna be fun.
