Those riots were a joke...Fine, protest the stupid verdict (the verdict was an even bigger joke than the riots)...nothing wrong wtih that...but why does that give them the right to destroy property, beat people...and don't get me started with the looting..."I don't like what the jury said so I'm going to go steal me some new furniture and beer". Makes no sense.

The people involved were nothing but stupid animals.

I know what you're saying Titan, but "joke" is not the right word for it.

Those few days were scarier than any wildfire or earthquake for us SoCal people.

It was all about mob mentality.

A lot of the people involved had never done anything like that before, will never do anything like it again, and are genuinely sorry they let themselves get out of control.

I remember. I was there, there were shootouts ouside my building, they looted a store just a few blocks away from me. I lived in west Hollywood. We were curfued. It was kind of insane.
