leatt vs alpinestars neck brace

I had the leatt,good product, highsided and shattered my collarbone. Only reason i went to the alpinestars is my c bone is uneven and the leatt would not fit on it properly. Therefore i bought the alpinestars, which floats better on me. both good products, different strokes for different folks.

i also am stuck with this deicision, they only stock alpinstars in my area so i guess i will get that, they don't look as high to the helmet as leatt do so are they as safe?

Both good products, the A stars floats a little higher and not so much on the Collar bone., hard to make a decision for someone else, just opinions.

I wear a Leatt and I love it. I have never actually wore an alpinestars neck brace while riding but I find they sit a lot lower then the Leatt meaning that there is more space between your helmet and the neck brace. Therefore, I find it doesn't offer as much support as the Leatt. Now this is just my opinion, i'm not bagging on the Alpinestars at all just offering my experience with the Leatt. Both are great products and by wearing a neck brace at all i'd say your adhead of the game but if I had to choose one I would recommend the Leatt. I find it offers that tiny bit more protection and offers much more adjustability for the rider to fit it to their body and the way they feel comfortable with. Cheers
