There is an accessory of the dirt bike that has struck many a time several discussions – the dirt bike exhaust system. The debate of how to deal with the noise pollution is still persistent, causing an annoyance from different people who cannot stand noise decibels that high. One solution is a sense of responsibility to other motorists by restricting dirt bikes to only off road terrains. What other solutions are there to deal with the noise pollution.

What does restricting dirt bikes to off road terrains mean?

I meant some types of dirt bikes are not street legal such as motocross dirt bikes. They do not come fitted with silencer features and can be a nuisance if the government is not keen on having them ridden strictly on off road terrains.

I would think most police are more interested in if a dirt bike has a licence plate on it and the exhaust would be a secondary thought. There are numerous street bikes on the road with modified exhausts that are a nuisance with noise.

Yes but I would have a better suggestion of closing all loose ends by being a law abiding citizen by having the license plate as well as opting to have a reasonably priced and quiet exhaust system. The Yoshimura’s TRS Complete Exhaust System is lighter and has much quieter muffler made from ultra-light titanium metal. I would recommend Dirt Bike Accessories for some of their exhaust systems and more so their attractive offers.
