Hurt his shoulder in practice. Saw on Instagram that he was rolling out for opening ceremonies and was going to give it a go. Idk if he literally just wanted to come out for intros, or if they didn't realize that he never qualified for the night program.

You're right on this, though I did ask J-Bone about the non-qualifier thing, and he said there's some provision for riders in the top ten to be able to line up in the last pick for heat races. I'll see if I can find out more later.

Oh, and it wasn't just because he wanted to do an intro lap. He wanted to see if he could race.

He crashed really Hard, it looked to me like His Shoulder was hurt very bad.

I'm glad He was unable to race, I think he could have hurt himself even worse had he tried.

He gets rides because of Talent and Potential. Not to mention He has won a Main event.

When you go to lots of races it's easy to see why, All the riders are talented but at the upper level talent is in short supply.

The JGR manager explained it in RacerX... They'd rather have Grant, a guy who has won a race before and can show flashes of great potential than a guy who will finish 8th every single weekend... outside sponsors like it better that way.

That's why Grant and Weimer have better rides than Short...

Short-Tickle; Good 100% of the time
Grant-Weimer; Great 10%, good 40%, mediocre 50% of the time
