big crash

had me a pretty good crash this weekend. got cut off bye a qquad right at a big double. flew over the handle bars landed on my shouler. i have a torn ligament in my shoulder. has anyone had an injury like this befor wondering the recovery time and so on.

Depends what you did, probably a rotator cuff. I got a 75% separation last crash on my shoulder, rehabbed it, never was 100% but good enough to lift and still ride, but that led to the labrum getting worn and my arm dislocating, so surgery next week for me.

i have to go in monday to be checked out. they thought it was dislocated but i tore something. got me some good pain killers tho

That sucks man, luckly nothing really serious. Stupid quad rider hit me last november and cost me like $360 in damages, me fixing it myself. This doesn't even touch the 4 months with rear brakes that would go in and out, again caused by them. My parts list was a new rear brake caliper, front axle, tire bearings, dust seals, ext...

Anyhow glad to hear nothing is really bad, how about the bike damages?

I think my tear required about 6 weeks in a sling, and rehab didn't seem to take too long...kinda like when I broke my collarbone. Injury down time sucks.

i havnt looked ive been in my house all doped up lol. its still in the trailor mywife said theres nothing wrong but she dosnt have a clue. i hope nothings wrong but id rather my bike brakee than me im just beeten and broozed comes with the sport
