any proof on Barcia's fractured wrist?

he doesn't seem to have 2 fractures on it...at least you can see Hannys injury affecting his riding. Anyone else think its not as serious as they say it is?

Dr. Reiman of the Asterisk Mobile Medical crew took the x-rays showing the fractures after JB17's Atlanta practice crash (saw the x-rays myself). Choice of a six week cast or wearing a splint and riding only on the weekends until the East Coast Lites break when he could give the wrist a real opportunity to heal.

Proof? There's no doubt his wrist is fractured. But that doesn't mean his injury is as severe as Hansen's.

my post came out a little f***** up...I meant to say what is up with his wrist cause I really don't think its as bad as the team claims it is. hasn't slowed him down a bit and he's still as aggressive, yet the team says he isn't riding his pace...what type of fractures does he have?

Two (2) non-displaced fractures Straight forward to heal once you give it a chance to do so. JB17 is fortunate to have a wrist brace that gives him good mobility. Hardest part from the team's perspective is keeping him off the bike and committed to the healing process. It is improving and the hope is that he will be 100% by Hangtown.

Just curious because I had some bones in my hand/wrist broken and it didn't take long to heal.
