I heard Larry Brooks talk about the X Games in Dallas, does anyone have any info on this? Is it the Moto X Championship like they had this year? Anyone know where exactly in Dallas they are planning to have it?

Umm... ok, that's a nice write up on the new stadium, but it doesn't really answer the question. Is the Moto X going to be at the new stadium in '09? I doubt it, because JJ wants the Cowboys to open the stadium and the old Cowboy's Stadium will be closed (hence no Supercross this year).

So no one has any info about this?? I thought this was supposed to be the Mecca of MX information??? That's a little disappointing...

They told us on the tour that the Cowboys would not open the stadium. They are going to have a "major event" in July. They don't want to hit any problems during the first Cowboys game. They would not say what the event will be.

MOTOCROSS ICON JAMES STEWART TO COMPETE IN ESPN X GAMES EVENTS FOR 2009

WHAT: Event dates for X Games 15

WHEN: July 30 – August 2, 2009

WHERE: Los Angeles, California
WHO: More than 200 of the best action sports athletes including motocross champion, James Stewart. It was announced in a press conference today that Stewart has signed on with Team San Manuel and, in addition, will compete in ESPN’s X Games 15 in July and the Moto X World Championships in the spring. Stewart began racing at the age of four and has raced motorcycles his entire amateur and professional career (dating back to 1993). In 2007, Stewart dominated the World Supercross GP and the AMA Supercross Series, successfully winning both championships. In 2008, Stewart was the AMA Motocross Champion with a “perfect season” – winning 24 of 24 races – only the second rider in the history of the sport to do so. This will be the first X Games appearance for Stewart.

DETAILS
The X Games, the premier action sports event in the world, will be held July 30 through August 2, 2009 in Los Angeles, California.

I love X Games! That would be kick ass if they had it in Dallas! But I think its too hot in July in Texas.

I think the ESPN Navy Moto X World Championships are suppose to be held in Dallas.

When they did it last year in SanDiego, ESPN really did not even announce much about the event til a week or so before the event,it was sort of a wierd deal from what I remember.

Also, I think they held the event on a SX Race Weekend in mid-April, I remember a few riders jumped on a plane right after the Detroit SX and flew out to SanDiego and were racing the next afternoon.

I hear anything about it or see anything I will post it on here.

You are not starting off very well with your ungrateful attitude. My suggestion is for you to take a break from here for about 5 years and then come back and calmly, but firmly apologize for your attitude.
