Can anyone confirm if the TTO hour meter has a button on the back that can add time in 5hr increments?
I want to match hours after my current meter died . Bike only has 20 hrs but sat for an extended period.
I know I can write on it plus 20 hrs but when it comes time to sell soon might look a little dodgy.
I dont have an old car to wrap around a plug wire either as all my cars are relatively new.
I read an older post about the TTO ones having a button on the back that adds time.
Just wanting to know if its true or not before buying one
Thanks Rob

I think you’re basing too much stock on a hour meter for a second hand purchase. Anyone with half a brain would take the hour meter reading with a grain of salt, and look more at the condition and care given to the bike.

Great if it had a button but don’t stress if it doesn’t.

I agree with the fact that an hour meter is great for resale but the buyer has to believe it’s been in place the whole time. I see pics of an hour meter in for sale ads and they could have installed it years after they started using it. Really means nothing for resale. I’ll always assume a bike with low hours on a meter has a lot more hours on it than what it says.
