Post count question?

Has anyone ever paid attention to their post count? My last 4 posts two of them say 457 and two say 458...weird
I have had this happen before.
Is there some rule here i dont know about?

Maybe if a post is deleted it's removed from the count, but it doesn't change the count on posts you've already made?

It looks like about 30, or so, are missing from my count a few days ago. Strange, now that somebody mentions it.

Ya ,if you have Mx in your name its worth 2 but if you have Dad its -4.And a three digit number is a negative as well.Thus your dilemma.

Yeah, Dave actually has six posts. He just made his number 13,000+ to enhance his rep.

(Actually, on this system you can't change the post count.)

It's possible that If threads get trashed that it reduces your post count by the number of posts that you had in a deleted thread.

The board got erased a couple times over the years and everyone lost their post counts. It would mean something if we had our original counts. Oldx would be around 10,000, EIdave probably 100,000, Alphado oh maybe 200,000

I remember way back in the day when Alphado had like 15,000 posts and 90% of those were just images from Google. I miss those good old days when Motodrive was the wild west of Moto.
