OTD TTR50 Prices?

Curious what everyone is seeing for prices on new TTR50s? Just took my boy to the local dealer to try the CRF and TTR, he liked the TTR. Their price was $1,750, but OTD it was $2,650?? Didn’t get an itemized list of fees, but an extra $900 is 50% of the MSRP. Seems steep. What’s everyone else seeing?

I am seeing the same thing. I was looking for a pw50 for my granddaughter and the local dealer went full retard on the price. I just smiled and walked out.

We bought a pw50 and had 350 in fees (including shipping). 2100 or so OTD. This was gulf coast Mississippi.

Some dealers were 800+ In fees. No way for what it is.

That seems more reasonable. I know the margins aren’t much on these small bikes and the dealer needs to make some money, but 50%? That’s like going to get a new $10k 450 and the OTD price jumping to $15k. A little insane.

What dealer did you use? I may buy one out of state and have it shipped.

Just wanted to add that I’m not trying to crap on anyone, I was just curious if this was normal for such a small purchase. Got nothing but good things to say about the salesman, he was a super nice guy. Wasn’t pushy or anything and actually knew about bikes. When I asked for an OTD price, he even told me upfront I wasn’t gonna like it. lol

YMC raised the shipping cost to the dealer, if they charge msrp + normal fee's on a pw50 they lose money. However charging $500 frt. and set-up on a pw is not a fair price. Nobody wins.

I just bought a TTR 110 last week and pretty sure I got scammed a few hundred bucks. I went in there and saw a $630 additional markup but when I saw my final agreement a few days later they charged me $900 markup + shipping, taxes and fees. That’s the last time I let the fear of missing out her the best of me!

Anyone know why they don't just advertise the whole price? Why advertise MSRP then have all these secret fees. Just give us a total price on the sticker with all fees included.

It's a Sales Tactic. The "low price" gets you through the door, they hope that you are so emotionally invested at that point that you'll still buy after all the mark ups.

Just my opinion I guess....
