Milestone has a new SX track, I believe that Cameron Rodriguez built the track. If so, he did a good job with what he had to work with.
The track has a good flow and is not as technical as the track at comp edge (not a good or bad thing) just different.
The issue with building a track with sandy soil is that it will break down very quickly and this is exactly what happened. With Ryan Sipes, Jake Canada and Cameron riding, it already was having issues on the first day.
This is not a negative post, just an informational post trying to help the track become better. If they can mix clay in with the dirt it will help hold the layout together. Milestone does a great job of keeping it watered but it is difficult at best keeping the traction needed for a SX track.
Lap times were 45 to 47 seconds when the traction was good.
Good job Milestone, the riders appreciate it.
