Silence! Your purpose is to add one viewer to the CBS conglomerate tomorrow. You shouldn't complain. It's good for the industry people because fans should care about EXPOSURE. And btw we used to learn who won the race only when the Regatta returned from the New World with the secret parchment three months later.

Why can't someone, Jim Holley would be a good choice since he is at each race, just sit in the stands and using his cell phone give us his commentary on the races broadcast on one of the podcast net shows?

Would Feld shut it down because they would not be making $$ from the audio webcast?

It is just beyond comprehension that a sport that can sell out stadiums cannot get at least a live audio feed. I feel like this is 1997, at least we had virtual grandstand even then.

I know back in the 80's I ran to my mailbox every Friday after school, so that I could read that beautiful Cycle News and see what happened 6 days prior. But that was 30 years ago. It would be so simple, yet the promoter wants to keep us in the stone ages so they can control every penny.
