I’m wondering if someone makes an adapter/ quick connects that can be used to check for pressure instead of threading it all the way down the fitting

I would think any air pressure gauge would work similar to any press on tire gauge. Its just a shrader valve no different than what is in your tires. You'll obviously want to make sure you get a good seal when you push it on as any escaping air is changing your spring rate and would force you to then service. That's why its seen as more reliable to thread an adapter on to check and make adjustments as needed. A press on unit would only be good for checking air. If you needed to service it you would still need to use a thread pump of sorts to service it and that would be inconvenient and time consuming to switch tools.
