Just to let everyone know the stat reported by Racer X and echoed by Ralph and Emig is actually incorrect. They stated that if he crashes he loses 100% of the time and if he stays up he wins 100% of the time. INCORRECT- Go watch Anaheim 1 2007- he crashed after the finish line jump in the main, got up and won the race.

I've never heard them say that. I've only heard them state he wins 100% of the time if he doesn't crash which isn't all that amazing of a stat if you crash a lot. I've won 100% of the races I've never crashed in but I've crashed in every race I've entered.

Stewart beat RC in Toronto like that too. Lost the front end during the race while in the lead, dropped to 4th while RC was in first...then Ran down RC, gapped him and won

Gang, I don't think we've ever said "Stewart wins 100 percent of the time when he doesn't crash," but rather "Stewart has never lost without crashing." DC and Feld's Denny Hartwig checked all of the stats for AMA Supercross going back to 2005 (this stat does not count the FIM races in Canada) and figured this all out, and the SPEED crew has picked up on it. It's just a fun fact that portrays Stewart's "wreckers or checkers" speed on a supercross track, and it now stands at 33 wins in 51 career AMA Supercross mains, with at least one crashes in all 18 losses.... And yes, as John pointed out, he has crashed and still won (Anaheim '07, at least).

Thanks for reading our stuff.

I think that's what I said too. It's the original poster in this thread who said that you stated otherwise. They probably should have provided a link or an exact reference (if it exists) to support their position.

Wonder what the stats are on him crashing out of a series? Theres a few championships that went begging due to brain farts, pogo sticking Kawi front ends, trying to win 30min motos in the first 5 mins, cracking under pressure...etc
