Another Rumor from deep inside the Stewart compound states James was willing to ride out his contract but before he did, he wanted a good test rider to ride the Yamaha, and the Suzuki. Stewart in a HUSH HUSH move went to the JGR facility and tested a Factory 450 within the last 2 weeks. Suzuki brought their rig and setup a bike and let him test it. Apparently James has been on the bike for about two weeks. Now, James is bringing his RedBull money on board at JGR and will let his team either sit or fold up. Yamaha's contract is with L&M and their rider, James name appears nowhere.

Now to his counterpart Skippy. Reed was angry with Honda becuase the McBrooks team gets first bid for factory parts at Honda? Word is, you Ozzies' get your wish, today or earlier this week Reed inked with Honda and will get to Lease any available factory parts they may need. So Reeds team will be RockStar Team22 racing.

Other rumors are, since Muscle Milk will no longer be with JGR, they have inked with Honda. San Manual have dropped Stewart because of his lawsuit, Brooks knows this and is trying to make a deal with them. This will be an interesting story to keep an eye on.

Wow! That all sounds pretty cool. When I took Ozzy to the airport on Tuesday, he didn't know any of that.

Based on his SX result from 2011, Stewart is not a good team manager at this point in his career. Coy Gibbs seems to run a tight ship and appears to have integrated his dad's leadership style into running a SX/MX team. I recall Millsaps saying he had to move to the team's head quarters and the entire team trains, practices and works together. It will be interesting to see how Stewart performs in this environment.

If this all comes true I highly doubt Stewart will move to NC. JGR will bend their previous rules and let him do his own thing at home in FL. They know they have to make that concession to get a top flight guy on board.

Good point. And you're right "if this all comes true." This whole discussion could be based on a false premise. However, for Coy to let Stewart do his own thing in Florida, that would be a philosophical shift for JGR, both in NASCAR and in SX/MX.

Jeremy A has said in the past they would bend the rules for the right rider. They were willing to bend with another rider they were in negotiations with this year.

That would be sweet if Top Jimmy could get a JGR Suzuki ride alongside Bubba.
