Hurt wrist in practice, tried holding on for the Heats, DNS the main.

It wasn't his wrist. The track had some good sized rocks in it, and he took one to the lip in first session, and then one got index and middle fingers on his clutch hand. He said he was having problems in the heat with it, and didn;t want to go 20 laps with it.
