I just checked out the freecaster site and tried to watch some moto vids. I hope they make some drastic improvements to Freecaster prior to the start of the GP season. I know it was an attempt to provide free video of the series but honestly free is too much to charge for video that lags, stops to buffer, and poor full screen picture clarity.

I had zero problems paying the $29 a year to mediazone for the almost 3 hours of live mx1 and mx2 series video plus the MXON LIVE. Flawless streaming video and decent clarity.

Does anyone know why they made the change?

I watch all kinds of stuff on Freecaster and it works fine for me (although the picture quality is somewhat variable from event to event) - better than Mediazone ever did, considering that I had to install a new operating system and configure it for internet access and update the living hell out of Windows Media Player to make _that_ work. Grin

But I'm a freak who never has technical issues with the SX webcast either.
