Fox Boots

I was wondering if anyone has ever replaced the soles on there boots.
The boy has a boot just over a year old that is not under warranty since it is just over a year.
I was trying to buy new soles from Fox but they don't have any.
So instead of buying new boots that would not be fox I was wondering about taking them to a boot store and have new soles installed.
Has anyone done this before?

There are shops that re-sole MX boots. I think they typically use Gaerne soles and charge about $100. Are those the Fox Instinct boots? If they are, you probably paid around $580, so they are worth getting resoled. If they are a cheaper fox boot, just go buy a new set of boots.

Yes, but have always taken the new soles to the cobbler and it's cheap. I have no clue if you don't have the soles. Does he ever ride on the balls of his feet?
