The old rider vs equipment debate. Pretty funny how that worked out in his first ride on a "competitive" bike. Just sayin...

na, you can't judge the guy by one race. he is going to have to get used to that bike, new team, pressure, etc. he looked pretty good in his heat race, though. as far as debating whether a factory bike would help an "old rider", there is no debate, imo. a factory bike would help ANYBODY!

Yeah, let's give him a little more time on it first. Daytona's not exactly a "standard" Supercross.

The contrary, I was actually suprised by how well he did do on the new ride. He was running up front in the Heat and finished in a respectable position in the main.

I just never bought into the factory/factory supported teams equipment making that big of a difference until now.

I was always told 90% rider 10% equip. , as dialed as some of these teams have these 250f's i think those percentages are off.

Just having better support makes a huge difference. Daniel is riding really good I hope he can build on it and keep the results coming.

if i could ride that bike i guarantee i could go win after 2 days of riding it. just because it's great equipment....

pfft... give the dude another race or two. racing a cookie cutter supercross on tacky dirt and daytona are two completely different things.

He even had to try to break in his new boots on the track walk. The dude is cool, give him a chance.
