I watched that at least 10 times last night... Don't know if Davalos could have gotten out of that rut and gone higher even if he wanted too. Was Izzy too impatient? Perhaps.. He'll learn from it and grow. Sucked though for sure cause I think he could have easily won his heat, got a good gate pick and run with or beat Austin.

I wish Izzi would have waited a few more turns. He has the speed to beat Davalos for sure. just should have waited a little longer and then pulled the trigger on the pass.

Izzi was definitely impatient but Davalos should have railed the corner instead of cutting down. Speed showed someone at Indy doing the same thing as Davalos did and Emig commented you NEVER do this on the first lap.

LCQs are for sure way too short but then again so is the whole freakin' program. You know if they really wanted to save time and protect the track they could just eliminate the night program and award points for qualifying. (insert sarcasm emoticon here)
