Who makes taller mounts or spacers to work with stock clamps? I know ride engineering makes spacers but it only works with their clamp

What kind of bike? Pro taper offers rising bar mounts, Pro Circuit offers this as well. Yamaha changed the mounts for 2018 and went 5mm higher.

In my experience putting bar risers on has more negative effects than positive ones. YMMV

Ran bar risers for years... it just doesn't work

None of the top guys from Benny Bloss to AC run bar risers

You can slightly lower on pegs but thats about it

It does help, but people tend to overdo the height. Most guys start putting 1in risers on and next thing you know the bars are over the front of the clamps and the bike will oversteer and corner like crap

Which stock clamps? We make a variety of options that might be able to work depending on which bike you're talking about.

And so long as you're not running massive risers, there's nothing wrong with raising the bars up a touch. It's just another adjustment to help a taller rider get more comfort. Most of the Star Yamaha team is running risers on their clamps. Same goes for Club MX.

I plan to run a shorter flatter bar on my RMZ 450 2011 and just want something to bring it back up a bit. 5-10mm?

Well, unfortunately Suzuki is the only bike we don't have a solution for. You would need a spacer to raise things up and also a longer shouldered bolt to keep the cone compression correct. You won't be able to find that at the hardware store, so it would have to be something aftermarket custom made.

These might work for you:

Not sure about the quality, and they don't use a shouldered bolt, but they should still work.
